120V Track systems are modular and can be designed for multiple applications in nearly any interior environment. J2 Track is a two circuit track system that can control lighting fixtures separately through two switches. Any "J" style fixture can work on a J2 track system. Versatile yet sturdy, track systems can be surface mounted or suspended from ceilings, enabling the lighting design to adapt to changing styles and spaces. 1) Will the WAC JL-RIGHT L connector work on single circuit J track, or only two circuit J2 track?
The JL-RIGHT L connector is part of WAC Lighting's two circuit J2 120V track system, so it belongs on J2 track runs. The J2 system carries two circuits so fixtures can be switched separately, and any "J" style fixture will run on it. WAC also states J2 track and J style fixtures from other leading lighting manufacturers are compatible. If your run is a single circuit system, this is not the connector for it.
2) Does the direction of the WAC J track L connector matter when I turn a corner?
Yes. This is the right-hand L connector, so it turns the run one specific way. Orientation is fixed, and the part is not reversible mounting, so you cannot flip it to make a left turn. Lay out your corner first and order the hand that matches the direction the track needs to go.
3) Can I use this WAC J track connector in a bathroom, covered patio, or parking garage?
No. The J track components are UL and cUL Listed for dry locations only and are specified for interior use. For a damp or wet location, including covered exterior soffits and open garages, you need a fixture and raceway rated for that location instead.
4) Does the WAC JL-RIGHT connector feed power into the track, or do I still need a power connector?
