1) Can this WAC L connector be used on a covered exterior porch or a garage?
No. The connector is rated for dry locations and listed for interior use only, so keep it out of damp or wet areas such as open soffits, bathrooms with shower spray, or exterior walls. For anything outdoors you need a wet-location-rated system instead.
2) Can I flip the right L connector around to make a left turn?
No. It isn't reversible, so a left-hand turn needs the matching left L connector. Order handing based on the direction the run turns as you follow it from the feed end.
3) How much ceiling space does the L Track corner connector take up, and how far does it drop below the ceiling?
The body measures 2.75 inches square with a height of 0.75 inch, and the backplate matches at 2.75 by 2.75 inches with a 0.75 inch profile. Allow 2.75 inches of clear ceiling in each direction at the corner and expect about 3/4 inch of projection, same as the track it joins.
4) What finishes does the WAC L Track right L connector come in, and can I match my existing track?
Three finishes: black (LL-RIGHT-BK), brushed nickel (LL-RIGHT-BN) and white (LL-RIGHT-WT). Order the connector in the same finish code as the track sections so the corner doesn't stand out on a painted ceiling.
