WAC Lighting WAC-LX – Frequently Asked Questions

1) Will the LX connector fit Halo, Juno or Lightolier track?
No. The LX is built for WAC Lighting's L Track profile and is only confirmed to mate with L Track sections. Track profiles from other manufacturers use different channel geometry and conductor positions, so plan the intersection with L Track components throughout.
2) Can I install this track connector on a covered exterior walkway or in a parking garage?
No. The LX carries a dry location rating and is specified for interior use only. For canopies, covered walkways or any damp or wet area, you need a damp or wet rated track system instead.
3) What voltage is the WAC L Track X connector rated for?
120V line voltage, hardwired. It is a current-carrying connector on a 120V track circuit, so it is not for use on a low-voltage or 277V system.
4) What finishes does the WAC L Track X connector come in so it matches the rest of my track?
Three: black (LX-BK), brushed nickel (LX-BN) and white (LX-WT). Match the connector to the finish of the track sections and heads already on the ceiling, since the crossover sits in plain view at the intersection.
5) What is the WAC L Track X connector made of?
Aluminum body with a finished exterior in black, brushed nickel or white. Aluminum keeps the fitting light where it bridges four track runs on a ceiling-mounted or suspended layout.
6) Can the X connector be flipped to feed the track from the other direction?
No. The LX is not a reversible-mounting component, so orient it to the track layout as installed rather than planning to turn it over on site.
