1) Will the WAC Lighting LED1035 Exterminator II track head fit my existing track, and what track type does it take?
The LED1035 Exterminator II is an L track fixture, so it mounts to L-style track only. It will not seat in J or H track. It runs on 120V line voltage track.
2) Do I need to buy a bulb for the LED1035 Exterminator II track head?
No separate lamp to buy. It's an integrated LED module, one light source, supplied with the fixture and rated at 100,000 average hours. There's no socket, so when the module reaches end of life the head is replaced rather than relamped.
3) Can I use the LED1035 track head outdoors or in a covered patio?
No. The Exterminator II LED1035 is an interior fixture with a dry location rating only. Keep it out of bathrooms with open showers, covered exterior soffits, and any damp or wet location, and specify a damp or wet rated head for those spots.
4) What color temperatures and CRI options does the Exterminator II LED1035 come in?
Four color temperatures: 2700K, 3000K, 3500K and 4000K. CRI is offered at 85 or 90. For gallery, retail apparel, or anywhere color rendering is judged by eye, take the 90 CRI. If you're adding heads to an existing run, match the Kelvin of what's already installed or the difference will show on the wall.
5) Which beam spread should I order for retail display versus general room lighting?
The Exterminator II LED1035 comes in a 25 degree and a 55 degree beam. The 25 degree is the accent option for punching light onto artwork, merchandise, or a display case from a high ceiling. The 55 degree flood covers wall washing and broader task or general lighting where you want overlap between heads.
6) How much light does the LED1035 Exterminator II put out and what does it draw?
2,476 lumens from 35 watts at 120V. That's the output a spec writer uses to work out head spacing on a run, and the 35W figure is the total connected load per head for sizing the circuit and the transformer-free 120V track feed.
