1) Will the WAC Lighting LED160 Precision track head fit my existing track, or do I need H-system track?
The LED160 Precision head is built with an H-track adapter, so it only mounts to H-system (Halo-compatible) track. It will not snap into J or L system track. Every part number on the family starts with the H- prefix, for example H-LED160S-930-BK. If your ceiling runs J or L track, you need the matching version of the head for that system.
2) What beam angles does the WAC LED160 track head come in, and which one should I use for artwork versus general room light?
Two beams: a 20 degree spot and a 40 degree flood. The spot (S in the part number, like H-LED160S-30-WT) is the one for artwork, merchandise displays and accenting a single object from a distance. The 40 degree flood (F, like H-LED160F-30-WT) spreads wide enough to wash a wall or light a seating area without heavy scallops.
3) Can I use the WAC LED160 track head in a covered patio, bathroom or kitchen over a range?
No. The LED160 is dry location rated and listed for interior use only. Keep it out of covered outdoor areas, shower zones and anywhere it sees steam or condensation. Those spots need a damp or wet location rated head instead.
4) Is the WAC LED160 track head dimmable, and does it need a special dimmer?
It dims. The head runs on a 120V integrated LED driver, so pair it with a dimmer rated for LED loads and size the dimmer to the total connected wattage on the circuit, 14.5W per head. Standard incandescent dimmers will often buzz or drop out at the low end with a load this small.
5) How big is the WAC LED160 track head and how far does it hang below the track?
The head measures 5.56 inches in height, 5.31 inches in width and 2.25 inches in length, with a 2.25 inch diameter body. Max height is the same 5.56 inches, so allow roughly that much drop below the track when you are checking clearance against cabinets, shelving or sightlines.

Black and white are the two finishes across the whole LED160 Precision range, in both beam angles and both CRI grades. White disappears into a white ceiling and black reads cleaner over dark track or in a gallery setting. Match the finish to the track itself, not just the ceiling.

Yes, it takes reversible mounting, so the head can be turned and aimed rather than locked into one orientation. Combined with the 20 degree spot or 40 degree flood optic, that lets you wall-wash, uplight a feature, or drop a tight beam onto a display case off the same track run.
