1) Will the WAC Silo X10 track head fit my existing H-style track?
The Silo X10 LED2010 is built as an H track fixture, so it mounts on H-system track (the three-circuit H configuration WAC and Halo-style H track use). It runs on 120V line voltage track. If your ceiling runs J or L track, this head will not seat in it.
2) Can I use the Silo X10 track head in a bathroom, covered patio, or cooler?
No. It carries a dry location rating and is listed for interior use only, so keep it out of bathrooms with shower moisture, covered exterior soffits, and refrigerated or wash-down spaces. Those openings need a damp or wet rated fixture instead.
3) Do I get the track rail with this, or just the head?
Just the head. The Silo X10 is not a complete system, so the H track sections, power feed, connectors, and end caps are all ordered separately. Count your heads, then size the track run and feed for the total load at 10 watts per head.
4) How much light does a 10W Silo X10 track head actually put out?
1053 lumens from a 10 watt integrated LED, at 3000K and 90 CRI. That output level suits accent and display lighting on retail shelving, artwork, or residential kitchens rather than general room illumination, and the 90 CRI keeps merchandise and finishes looking true.
5) What beam angle does the Silo X10 head throw, and is it a spot or a flood?
Beam spread is 25 to 35 degrees, which is a narrow-to-medium flood. It is tight enough to pick out a painting or a product display without dumping light on the surrounding wall, but wider than a true spot. For washing a long wall evenly you would want a wider beam head.
6) Can I dim these track heads, and does the LED lamp get replaced?
The Silo X10 is dimmable. The light source is an integrated LED module rather than a screw-in lamp, so there is no bulb to change out; the LED is included and rated for an average 60,000 hours. When the module reaches end of life you are replacing the head, not a lamp.
7) Does the WAC Silo X10 track head meet California Title 24 and does it count as Energy Star?
Title 24 compliant and Energy Star qualified, with ETL and cETL safety listings for the US and Canada. That covers the usual residential and light commercial energy code paperwork in California. It is not ADA compliant, which matters only if you are surface mounting in a protruding-object path, not for typical ceiling track.
