1) Can the WAC Lotos R6ERAR fire rated downlight be installed in a 2-hour fire rated ceiling without a separate fire box?
The Lotos Adj R6ERAR-W9CS-FWT is itself fire rated, tested and certified to ASTM E119 and UL 263 for 2 hours, so it goes into the rated ceiling assembly directly. It is also IC rated and airtight, which means it can sit in direct contact with insulation and does not need an additional airtight enclosure.
2) How much space above the ceiling do I need for this WAC Lotos adjustable downlight?
Plan on at least 4-1/2 inches of plenum space above the ceiling. That is the stated minimum for the Lotos Adj R6ERAR fire rated downlight, and the driver is included, so the depth has to accommodate the housing and driver together.
3) Do I have to order different color temperatures for different rooms, or can one fixture cover them all?

The Lotos Adj R6ERAR is 5-CCT switchable between 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K, selected at the fixture, so you can stock a single SKU for a whole building and set warm light in residential spaces and 4000K or 5000K in back-of-house or corridors. 4) Will the WAC Lotos R6ERAR work on a 277V circuit in a commercial building?

The Lotos Adj R6ERAR dims on both ELV and TRIAC controls, 100 percent down to 5 percent on either. If you are reusing an existing forward-phase TRIAC wall dimmer, it will work; for new work with an ELV dimmer, it works there too. Note it is a line-voltage dimming fixture, not 0-10V.
