1) Does the JHT-007L track head fit J-style track, or do I need H or L track?
The WAC Lighting JHT-007L is a J track fixture, so it mounts to J-series (Juno-compatible) two-circuit track. It will not seat in an H or L track section. Confirm the track runs already in the ceiling are J profile before ordering, since the adapter is not interchangeable.
2) Does the WAC JHT-007L low voltage track head come with a bulb?
No lamp is packed with it. You supply an MR16 lamp with a GY5.3 bi-pin base. Order the lamps separately on the same purchase order, or the heads arrive dark.
3) What dimmer should I spec for these WAC low voltage track heads?
Spec an ELV (electronic low voltage) dimmer. Putting them on a standard incandescent or MLV dimmer is the usual cause of flicker and buzz on a job like this, so the dimmer schedule needs to call out ELV for that circuit.
4) Can I use the JHT-007L track head in a covered exterior walkway or a bathroom over a shower?
No. It is rated for dry, indoor locations only. Covered entries, canopies, bath enclosures and anything that sees damp air need a damp or wet rated fixture instead.
