1) Will the WAC JHT-826L track head fit a J-series track system?
Yes. The JHT-826L is built as a J Track fixture, so it mounts to WAC J-series (120V) track. It will not drop into an H or L track system without the matching track type. Voltage at the track is 120V; the head steps it down for the low voltage MR16 lamp.
2) Does the JHT-826L track head come with a bulb, and what lamp do I need to order?
No lamp is included. You supply an MR16 lamp with a GY5.3 bi-pin base, rated up to 50W maximum. Order lamps separately for every head on the run.
3) Can I put these low voltage track heads on a dimmer?
Yes, but the control has to match: the HT-826 head is rated for ELV (electronic low voltage) dimming. A standard incandescent/forward-phase dimmer is the wrong device here and can buzz or dim poorly. Spec an ELV reverse-phase dimmer for the circuit.
4) Can the WAC JHT-826L be used in a bathroom, covered patio, or cooler?
No. It is an indoor fixture rated for dry locations only. Damp areas like bathrooms with showers, covered exterior soffits, or refrigerated spaces need a damp- or wet-rated head instead.
