The JFM33 is a 10-32 UNF machine screw with 32 threads per inch, cut to the ANSI/ASME B1.1 thread standard. That is the same 10-32 thread used for device mounting holes in outlet boxes, plaster rings and cover plates, so it threads into those tapped holes. At 1/2 inch long it suits mounting straps and covers rather than deep stack-ups.
