Yes, it's a rapid start lamp, so it's matched to a rapid start circline ballast. Put it on the wrong ballast type and you'll get short lamp life or no start at all, so match the ballast label to rapid start and 32W before ordering.
2) Can I put the EiKO 32W circline lamp on a dimmer?
No. This circline fluorescent is not dimmable. On a standard wall dimmer you'll get flicker, failed starts, or a burned out lamp. It needs to run at full output on its rapid start ballast.
3) Is 4100K cool white going to match the other lamps in my building?
