The cable lockout is the catch-all for odd geometry: disconnects, multiple handles, or anything the fixed devices will not clamp.

As supplied, the K930 is a one-technician kit: three 74/40 padlocks and a single 1 inch hasp. The hasp is what makes group lockout possible, since each worker adds their own padlock to it before the energy source is released, but one hasp secures one isolation point. 5) Will the small ball valve lockouts in the ABUS K930 fit a large ball valve?
No. The K930 includes two small ball valve lockouts, sized for small handles only, and the two gate valve devices in the kit are handwheel covers that will not secure a lever-handle ball valve. For a large ball valve, order a large ball valve lockout separately or use the Safelex cable lockout that comes in the kit, running the cable to trap the lever in the closed position.
6) Are the ABUS K930 lockout tags durable enough for a wet or outdoor mechanical room?
The tags are unrippable vinyl with a matte surface built to take moisture, and 12 tags with 12 ties come in the kit. Matte matters in practice because a gloss tag under a work light is hard to read the writing on. The tags are made in the USA from recycled plastic.
