The MS+1893 adds a latchbolt alongside the deadbolt, which gives you three positions: both bolts retracted for free entry during business hours, latchbolt only so a handle or paddle lets people out and keeps the door secured behind them, and the MS hookbolt thrown for overnight lockup.
