Drill 3/4 inch. Wedge anchors use a hammer-drilled hole matching the anchor's nominal diameter, so a 3/4 inch carbide bit for this one. Blow or vacuum the dust out, drill deeper than your intended embedment so debris has somewhere to go, then drive the anchor through the fixture and tighten the nut to expand the clip.

Wedge anchors are for solid, poured concrete. They work by a clip expanding against the sides of the hole, and hollow block or brick does not give that consistent resistance, so pullout values go unreliable or the face of the unit blows out. For CMU and brick use a sleeve anchor, an internally threaded screw anchor, or an adhesive anchor with a screen tube instead. The TS64340SS belongs in a slab, footing, pier or structural wall.

The anchors ship with their nut and washer as part of the assembly, which is how wedge anchors are supplied, so the hardware for tightening is on the bolt. What you supply is the 3/4 inch carbide hammer-drill bit, a rotary hammer, something to clear the hole, and a torque wrench or socket to set the nut.
