The Appleton ECS175 U-Line Factory Sealed Plug and Receptacle line covers 15 and 20 Amp plugs and receptacles built with a dead-front design for use with electrical equipment in hazardous locations. Rated 125 Vac or 250 Vac with 1 and 2 horsepower ratings, this U-Line ECS Series is factory sealed, so external seals are not required and arcing stays safely confined to the receptacle interior. A neoprene gasket in the throat of the receptacle seals against the plug or the spring-loaded cover to keep out water, dust, and corrosive compounds.
