The Appleton U-Line Factory-Sealed 20 Amp Plug and Receptacle is engineered for stationary or portable electrically operated devices in hazardous locations. The ECP Interchanger plug features built-in switch contacts that activate when twisted into the receptacle, fitting standard NEMA 5-20R and 6-20R receptacles while preventing standard plugs from mating with the receptacle. Rated 125 Vac or 250 Vac, 20A, 3-pole, 2-wire, this U-Line series is classified for Class I, Division 1 and 2 Groups B, C, D; Class II, Division 1 and 2 Groups F, G; Class III; and NEMA 3, 3R environments.
