1) Will the Arrow 4800 rim exit device fit a narrow stile aluminum storefront door?
Yes. The 4800 Series is built for narrow stile openings and needs only a 1-3/4 inch minimum stile. Door thickness must be 1-3/4 inch minimum, and it mounts on extruded aluminum, hollow metal or wood doors. Rail projection off the door face is 3-1/4 inch maximum, so check your clearance to anything adjacent to the door.
2) Is the Arrow 4800 handed, and how do I order the right one?
It is handed. You specify left hand reverse or right hand reverse, and both are offered across every finish. Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your right and the door pulls toward you, it is right hand reverse. Order the wrong hand and the device will not mount correctly, so confirm before you place it.
