Camden CV-WTX2-H26 Prox Key Fob + HID Prox Wiegand

Camden's Wiegand receivers are designed to interface with existing access control systems for both long and short access applications. Pressing one of two buttons, users can control a barrier gate or overhead door up to 300ft. (100m) away. The same transmitter can be presented in front of a card reader, and operate as a conventional access credential. Identical 26-bit Wiegand ID numbers will be sent for both buttons and for the reader to manage multiple users in the access control database.

1) How far away will the Camden CV-WTX2-H26 key fob operate a gate or overhead door?
Range is up to 300 ft (100 m) from the receiver. Press one of the two buttons and the fob triggers the barrier gate or overhead door operator at that distance, so a driver can open a gate without lowering a window.
2) Can one Camden CV-W fob work both a parking gate and a card reader at the door?
That is the point of it. The CV-WTX2-H26 transmits to a Camden Wiegand receiver for long range gate or overhead door control, and the same fob presents in front of a prox card reader as a normal access credential. One credential covers the drive-in and the walk-in opening.
3) Will the buttons and the card read report as different users in my access control software?
No. Identical 26-bit Wiegand ID numbers are sent for both buttons and for the reader presentation, so the fob shows up as one credential in the database no matter how it is used. That keeps user management simple across multiple holders.
4) Do I have to replace my access control panel to use Camden 868 MHz wireless fobs?
No. The CV-W Series receivers are built to interface with an existing access control system, and the fob outputs standard 26-bit Wiegand, so the receiver wires into the panel like any other Wiegand reader. The wireless link itself runs at 868 MHz.
5) What is the difference between the CV-WTX2-H26 and the CV-WTX2H-H26SE fob?
Both are two channel fobs with HID prox and 26-bit Wiegand output. The CV-WTX2H-H26SE adds HID iCLASS SE credential technology, so pick that one if the card readers on your building are iCLASS SE rather than 125 kHz prox only.
6) Does the Camden CV-WTX2-H26 fob come with the receiver?
The CV-WTX2-H26 is the transmitter fob only. A matching Camden CV-WR Series Wiegand receiver has to be ordered separately and wired to the access control panel for the button channels to work. The card side of the fob needs no Camden receiver, it reads at your existing prox reader.
7) Is there a Camden prox fob with more than two buttons?
Yes, the CV-WTX4H-H26SE is the four channel version with HID prox Wiegand and iCLASS SE. Order it when a single fob needs to run more than two openings, for example two gates plus an overhead door. The other two models in the series are two channel.
