Output is 26-bit Wiegand, so the RDRKP wires into any controller that accepts standard 26-bit Wiegand input. Card format passthrough is the thing to confirm on the panel side, since the reader itself just reports 26-bit.

Yes. The keypad reader is rated from -31 to +140 degrees F (-35 to +60 C) and 0 to 95 percent relative humidity non-condensing, which covers exterior mounting in most North American climates including unheated garages, gates, and loading docks.
3) Will the Prodatakey RDRKP reader fit on a narrow aluminum storefront mullion?
The housing measures 1.9 x 4.8 x 0.875 inches, so it is a mullion-mount form factor at under two inches on its narrow face. On a typical aluminum storefront frame that fits the vertical mullion without overhanging onto the glass stop. Depth is 7/8 inch off the surface, which matters where a door swings past the reader.
4) Do I need to issue key cards, or can users just enter a PIN on this reader?
Either, and that is the point of the keypad version. Users can present a 125 kHz proximity credential or key in a PIN. You can also require both at once for two-factor entry on higher-security openings, so a lost badge alone does not open the door. Straight prox-only readers cannot do the PIN half of that.
