It reads MIFARE Classic 13.56MHz 14443-3 Type A, MIFARE DESFire 13.56MHz ISO/IEC 14443 A 1-4, and MIFARE Ultralite 13.56MHz ISO/IEC 14443 A 1-3. All three are 13.56MHz smart card formats. If your existing building credentials are 125kHz proximity fobs, they will not read on this unit and you would be reissuing credentials as part of the job.

12) Is the Codelocks A3 Dual rated for commercial use, and what does the keypad look like?
Commercial rated. The keypad is 12 individual buttons laid out 2 x 6 in a vertical format, so it reads as a column rather than the square telephone pad people expect.
