The CL610 and CL615 are heavy duty tubular mortise latch locks. The outside lever handle will retract the latch after a correct code is entered. The spring loaded latchbolt will lock automatically when the door is closed.

2) Can you change the code on a Codelocks CL600 lock without taking it off the door?
Yes, and that is the main reason to pick this range. The CL610 and CL615 use the QuickCode system, so the combination is changed on the door in seconds. If you order Non Code Free instead, a correct code is needed every time the outside lever is used. It is a build option, not a field setting, so decide it on the order form.
6) Can I get a Codelocks CL610 with an SFIC core so it goes on my building master key system?
Yes. An SFIC cylinder version is offered alongside the standard cylinder, and it comes without the core or keys, so your locksmith drops in the small format interchangeable core from your existing system. 10) Does the Codelocks CL610 lock the door by itself when it closes?
Yes. The latchbolt is spring loaded and locks automatically as the door shuts, so a stock room or office stays secure without anyone thumbturning anything behind them. Entry from the outside then needs the code, which retracts the latch through the outside lever. If you want a deadbolt you throw deliberately instead, that is a different function entirely, closer to something like the BEST 8T Series non-keyed tubular deadbolt with thumbturn.
11) Can a Kwikset Halifax or Lisbon dummy lever trim be used in place of a Codelocks CL610?
