Delaney Hardware BD1004 – Frequently Asked Questions
1) What finishes does the Delaney 1000 Series barn door hanger come in?
Four: US19 Black, US10B Oil Rubbed Bronze, US4 Satin Brass and US32D Stainless Steel. That covers matching a replacement hanger to hardware already on the door, which is usually the whole reason someone is buying one hanger rather than a kit. Pull the finish code off the existing rail or the second hanger and order to match, since black and oil rubbed bronze read similarly at a distance but are not the same finish.
2) How many hangers do I need to order for one barn door?
Two per door. A sliding barn door rides on a pair of hangers, one near each top corner, so a single Delaney 1000 Series hanger covers a one-roller replacement, not a full door. For a bypass pair, that is four. When only one roller has failed, it is still worth ordering both in the same finish if the surviving hanger has weathered.
