The AW4830P is sized for 48 inch by 30 inch B-Line enclosures. The panel itself measures 44.87 inches high by 26.875 inches wide, which is the usual inset from the enclosure's nominal size so the panel clears the box walls and lands on the mounting studs.
2) Can I use this B-Line panel in a washdown or outdoor enclosure?
No. The AW4830P is rated NEMA 1, which is indoor general purpose only, for protection against incidental contact and falling dirt. For a wet, outdoor or washdown location you need a panel and enclosure in a NEMA 3R, 4 or 4X family instead.
3) Is the AW4830P a flanged panel or a flat panel?
It's a NEMA flanged panel, meaning the edges are formed rather than left flat. The flange adds rigidity across a panel this size so 12 gauge steel doesn't oil-can when you load it with breakers, terminal blocks or a drive.
4) What is the finish on the AW4830P and will components ground through it?
