The B236RSS4 is the right hand version of the three hole offset bent angle, bent at 90 degrees. Handing matters on an offset fitting: the offset leg turns one way only, so a left hand run needs the opposite part. Work out the hand with the fitting oriented as installed before you order a quantity.

Material is steel with a Type 304 stainless steel finish, so it suits damp, washdown and coastal exposure where a plain electro-galvanized fitting would rust. For corrosive chemical service, spec a 316 stainless fitting instead.

It makes a 90 degree change of direction between two pieces of strut where the two members cannot sit in the same plane. The offset in the bend carries the second leg off the centerline of the first, so channel can turn a corner and still land flat on its mounting surface without shimming.
