Left hand. The B236LSS4 is a left hand three hole offset bent angle at 90 degrees, so the offset leg breaks to one side only. If your layout mirrors the other way, a left hand piece will not line the holes up where you need them, and you want the right hand version of the same offset bent angle instead. On jobs where you are bracketing both sides of a strut run, order both hands.

Budget separately for strut nuts and hardware, and in a corrosive or outdoor location match them to the fitting by ordering stainless hardware rather than zinc, otherwise the fasteners corrode first and you lose the benefit of the type 304 stainless finish.
