The B2010PASS6 is a steel clamp with a Type 316 stainless steel finish. Type 316 is the marine and chemical grade, so it is the one to reach for on coastal sites, wastewater plants, food processing areas and washdown environments where plain electro-galvanized strut hardware would rust out. If the run is dry indoor mechanical space, a plated version of the same clamp style will do the same mechanical job.

Hardware is already on it. The B2010PASS6 ships with a pre-assembled combination recess hex head screw, so the fastener is captive with the clamp when it comes out of the box. That saves an installer fishing loose nuts and screws on a ladder. You still supply the strut channel itself.

It is a strut pipe clamp, part of the Eaton B-Line strut accessory line. It secures a run of pipe or conduit to strut channel: the strap wraps the pipe and the captive screw draws into a nut in the channel slot. Electricians use them for EMT and rigid conduit racks, mechanical trades use the same style for small pipe. They are not standalone hangers, so you need the channel already mounted.

Go 316 where chlorides are in play. Salt air, pool chemistry, wastewater and caustic washdown all attack zinc coatings, and once a plated clamp corrodes the conduit support goes with it. The B2010PASS6 carries a Type 316 stainless finish for exactly that duty. One caution on mixed assemblies: pair it with 316 strut and 316 channel nuts, not plated ones, or the cheaper component corrodes first and you have gained nothing.

Order it as B2010PASS6, the Eaton B-Line manufacturer part number. The SS6 at the end is the Type 316 stainless designation and the PA denotes the pre-assembled screw, so a plain B2010 without those suffixes is a different item.

Each B2010PASS6 clamp measures 2.951 x 1.25 x .074 inches and weighs .16 lb. The .074 inch figure is the material thickness of the strap, which is why these ride flat against the channel face. Useful if you are calculating hanger loads or shipping weight on a large conduit package.

The B2010PASS6 record carries no applicable certification marking. Specify it on material grade and dimensions rather than on a listing mark, and if your submittal requires a third-party listing for conduit support, confirm the requirement against the project spec before substituting.
