B-Line 303010-SD Eaton series wall mounted panel enclosure

The Eaton B-Line 303010-SD measures 30 inches high by 30 inches wide by 10 inches deep, which is where the part number comes from. Plan for roughly 30 x 30 inches of clear wall face plus swing room for the hinged door, and 10 inches of projection off the wall. It weighs 85 pounds empty, so figure two people and anchors rated for the load before anything gets mounted inside.

It carries a NEMA 4 rating, so it is built to keep out windblown dust and rain, splashing water, and hose-directed water. That covers outdoor mounting and washdown areas in food plants or car washes. It is not a NEMA 4X rating, and the body is painted carbon steel rather than stainless, so for salt spray or aggressive chemical exposure you want a 4X stainless or non-metallic enclosure instead.

Wall mount, using thru holes in the back of the enclosure. Optional external mounting feet are available if you need the box held off the wall surface, which is the usual approach on outdoor or washdown installs where you want water to drain behind the enclosure and not sit against the wall. The feet are a separate item, not supplied in the box.

Single hinged door with 1/4 turn latches. You get quick tool-free access for inspection rounds, and the hinge means the door stays captive instead of you wrestling a loose screw cover off a wall at height. That is the standard weight for NEMA 4 wall enclosures of this size and it takes drilling, tapping, and cutouts for disconnects or conduit hubs without oil-canning. At 85 pounds empty in a 30 x 30 x 10 inch box, mount into studs or use through-bolts into masonry rather than drywall anchors.

It is built to UL 50, the standard covering enclosures for electrical equipment, and it is made in the United States. That combination matters on specs that call for domestic content or a UL-recognized enclosure for the panel build.

Painted finish in ANSI 61 grey, which is the standard industrial control enclosure color, so it lines up visually with most existing gear in a plant or mechanical room without repainting.
