1) Is the Eaton B-Line 101036 HS wireway rated for indoor dry locations only?
Yes. The 101036 HS is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which means general purpose indoor use in dry, non-hazardous locations. It gives no protection against dripping water, washdown, oil, or dust, so for outdoor runs or damp areas you need a NEMA 3R raintight wireway instead. It also carries CSA C22.2 certification for Canadian jobs.
2) Does this B-Line wireway come with knockouts already punched, or do I have to drill it?
It comes punched. There are 23 knockouts on the top and 23 on the bottom, so you can drop conduit into a run without laying out and drilling holes in the field. If your conduit entries do not line up with the punched pattern you would need to drill, but for standard rack and panel feeds the knockouts usually cover it.
3) What gauge steel and finish is the Eaton B-Line HS wireway, and will it match my existing gutter?
It is 14 gauge steel finished in ANSI 61 gray, the standard gray used on most commercial panelboards, enclosures, and gutter, so a new section blends with existing electrical equipment on the same wall.
