1) Is the Eaton B-Line 4424 GGV wireway rated for outdoor or wet locations?
No. The 4424 GGV is a NEMA 1 enclosure, which is indoor, general-purpose protection only. It keeps fingers and falling dirt out but does not seal against rain, washdown, or dripping oil. For a wet or outdoor run you need a NEMA 3R raintight wireway instead.
2) What size wireway is the B-Line 4424 GGV, and how long a section is it?
It is a 4 x 4 inch cross section, 24 inches long. That 4 x 4 profile is the common trough size for small to mid feeder and control gutter work, and the 24 inch length lets you make up a short pull section or a jog without cutting a longer stick.

It is a screw cover, secured with plated screws along the trough. You back the screws out to take the whole cover off for pulling and lay-in, then reinstall it. It is not a hinged or quick-release lid, so plan on a driver at every opening you need to access.

The body is galvanized steel in 16 gauge, finished gray, with plated cover screws. The galvanizing gives it more corrosion resistance than plain painted steel for humid indoor spaces, but it is still a NEMA 1 enclosure and should not be used where it will be rained on or hosed down.
