The 6618-4XSWT is built to NEMA 4X in 304 stainless steel with a seamless poured in-place gasket, so it is intended for wet, washdown, and corrosive locations rather than dry indoor use only. The stainless shell carries a #4 brushed finish, which is what food plants and coastal installs typically specify.

It is a 6 by 6 inch cross section, 18 inches long. That 6 x 6 opening is what governs your conductor fill and how many raceways you can land on a side, and the 18 inch run is the piece length you butt to the next section or terminate at an enclosure.

It ships with welded external mounting feet, so the trough stands off the mounting surface and you fasten through the feet rather than drilling the body. That keeps the 4X envelope intact, which is the whole point of buying a stainless washdown trough.

Hinged. The cover is held by semi-hinges with screw clamps and stainless steel hardware, so it swings open for pulling and landing conductors instead of coming fully off. If your install needs a removable flat cover for a tight ceiling space, this is not that style.

It is certified to CSA C22.2, so it can be specified on Canadian projects as well as US work. That is the certification carried on this trough; no other listing is claimed for it.

No knockouts. Like other 4X wiring troughs, the body arrives solid so the enclosure rating is not compromised, and you punch it in the field for the conduit hubs and fittings your run calls for. Order watertight hub fittings separately to hold the 4X rating at each penetration.

For a clean, dry electrical room a standard NEMA 1 screw-cover trough does the job and costs less to install. The 6618-4XSWT earns its keep where there is hose-down cleaning, humidity, chemicals, or salt air, since 304 stainless with a poured in-place seal and stainless cover hardware is what survives those conditions. Buying 4X for a dry room is spending on corrosion protection you will not use.
