The 6624-12WT is a 6 x 6 x 24 inch trough: 6 inch height, 6 inch width, 24 inch length. That gives you a 6 by 6 cross section for pulling and splicing conductors, with a two foot run between end connections. It weighs 16.039 lb, so a single installer can hang it on a wall or ceiling without a lift.

It is a NEMA 12 enclosure, which is the indoor rating for protection against falling dirt, circulating dust, lint and dripping non-corrosive liquids. That covers most plant floors, shops and mechanical rooms. It is not a wet-location or outdoor rating, so for rain, hose-down or sprinkler exposure you want a NEMA 3R or 4 trough instead. Certification is to CSA C22.2.

The cover is hinged, not a loose lift-off lid, so it swings open and stays attached while you are pulling or landing conductors. It is held shut by heavy-duty hinges and screw clamps rather than a full row of cover screws, which is what keeps the NEMA 12 seal against dust while still letting you get in one-handed. The seal itself is a seamless poured in-place gasket.

It comes with welded external mounting feet, so the trough bolts to the wall or structure through the feet and you never have to drill the enclosure body and break the NEMA 12 seal. Anchors or fasteners for your substrate are a separate buy.

The 12WT series is a seamless poured in-place gasketed NEMA 12 trough, and conduit openings are field-made to suit your run. Plan on punching to size and using gasketed hubs or sealing washers at each entry so you keep the NEMA 12 dust and drip rating you paid for.

14 gauge steel, finished gray. That is the heavier end of what gets used for wireway, so it holds its shape when you are stacking conduit entries and cover cycles on it in an MRO or plant setting. Gray is the standard match for most panelboards and gutter already on an industrial wall.
