3) Is the Emtek 1123 keyed, and how does it lock from inside?
It is the non-keyed version. There is no cylinder supplied with it and no key function on the exterior; the inside plate carries an American style thumbturn that throws and retracts the multi point lock. The cylinder hole sits below the handle, so if you later want key access from outside you would move to the keyed version of the same Configuration #1 trim rather than modifying this one.
