No. The 1534 is trim only, plates and handles. The multi point mortise lock box is a separate purchase, so you either reuse the gear already in the door or source the lock body separately.
2) What does Emtek Door Configuration #5 actually do on a patio door?
Configuration #5 is the semi-active (inactive) leaf setup: fixed, non-operating handle on the exterior and an operating lever on the interior. There is no key cylinder in it. Use it on the second leaf of a French pair where the door is normally kept shut but you still want to open it from inside.
3) Will the Emtek 1534 trim line up with my existing multi point lock holes?
The critical number is the 3-5/8 inch center-to-center between the handle spindle and the cylinder hole, with the cylinder position below the handle. Measure your existing gear: if your lock is a 3-5/8 inch CTC Euro profile layout with the cylinder under the lever, the plate will land on the existing prep. The plates measure 1-1/2 by 11-1/8 inches, so they will also need to cover whatever the old trim left behind.
