Trim only. The 1615 set is plates and handles for a swinging patio door; the multi point mortise lock box is not included and has to come from the door manufacturer or be ordered separately. Budget for the lock body before you schedule the install.

Configuration #6 describes where the cylinder sits relative to the handle on the trim plate. On the 1615 the cylinder position is below the handle, with 3-5/8 inch center-to-center between the cylinder and the handle spindle. Measure that dimension on the door you already have: if your existing plate puts the key below the lever at 3-5/8 inch centers, config #6 lines up. It is referenced against Milgard and Pella doors.

Correct, there is no lock function in it. A dummy pair is pull hardware: the levers are fixed, nothing retracts, and there is no cylinder or key in the set. It is what you put on the inactive leaf of a French patio pair, or on a door where the active hardware lives elsewhere. If you need the leaf to actually latch and lock, you need the keyed active trim in the same configuration, not this one.

It covers 1-3/8 inch through 1-3/4 inch doors, which takes in both standard residential thicknesses. Mounting is surface mount with no door prep required, so you are not boring or routing the slab to hang the plates. There is a door thickness field on the order so you can call out your exact slab.

Yes, handing is a required choice, right hand or left hand. Even though nothing latches, the arched plate and the lever are cut for a side, so an LH set on an RH door reads backwards. Stand outside the door: if the hinges are on your right, it is right hand.

Any Sandcast Bronze lever from the collection, and the lever is a required selection at order time. The choices are Aurora, Bryce, Cimarron, Cody, Durango, Lariat, Mariposa, Montrose, Teton and Yuma. Pick the same lever you used on your entry doors and the patio set reads as one suite.

Three sandcast bronze finishes: Flat Black Bronze (FB), Medium Bronze (MB) and Tumbled White Bronze (TWB). All three are living finishes on solid bronze plates, so they will darken and soften at the touch points over time rather than staying uniform. If you are matching existing Emtek bronze on the same house, match the finish code, not the photo.

The plate measures 1-1/2 x 11 inches, so the stile has to carry an 11 inch run of trim and be at least the plate width across. That is normally fine on a wood or fiberglass patio door and tight on a narrow aluminum stile. Lay a tape on the stile before ordering.

It is residential hardware. The 1615 is swinging patio door trim in sandcast bronze with a dummy function, sized for houses and custom residential work. For a commercial opening in a hotel, school or office you want a graded commercial lockset instead, not a residential patio trim.

No cylinder goes into the dummy set, so there is nothing to key. On the keyed versions of this configuration the cylinder is an American standard mortise type sitting below the handle. If you are keying the active leaf and want it to match the house, that is where the cylinder decision happens, not on this pair.

Purely mechanical. There is no electronic option on the 1615 trim, no wiring, and no battery. It is a mechanical dummy pair on a multi point patio door.
