No. The 16A3 is trim only, so you get the interior and exterior plates and the handles, nothing else. 3) Will Emtek 16A3 trim fit my Milgard or Pella swinging patio door?
Milgard and Pella are the reference door manufacturers for this trim, and it's built for swinging patio doors running a multipoint lock. What actually decides the fit is the prep: a 3-5/8 inch center-to-center between the handle and the cylinder, an American cylinder hole below the lever. Measure the existing plate before ordering, because Milgard and Pella both used more than one lock layout over the years.
4) Does the 16A3 patio door trim take a key, or just a thumbturn?
Non-keyed. Inside you get a thumbturn to throw and retract the multipoint lock, and there's no cylinder supplied with the set. The plate is still prepped in the American cylinder position below the handle, so a keyed exterior is a different trim configuration, not an add-on to this one. For a patio door that only ever gets locked from inside the house, the thumbturn version is the simpler order.
