Laminate works. The Belleo BSH-3200 is a topmount (drop-in) sink, so the rim carries on top of the deck rather than being clipped underneath, and the beveled SpecEdge rim is made to grip laminate as well as stone. That is the practical difference from an undermount, which needs a solid surface to bond to. Mounting hardware is included with the sink.
2) Will a standard garbage disposal fit the Houzer BSH-3200 drain?
The BSH-3200 has a 3-1/2 inch drain opening, which is the standard US kitchen sink size that disposals and basket strainers are built for. The drain sits at the rear of the bowl, which pushes the trap and disposal toward the back wall of the cabinet and frees up usable storage underneath.
