1) Will a standard garbage disposal fit the Houzer ES-2408 drain?
The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches and sits at the center of the bowl, which is the standard US disposal opening, so a typical InSinkErator style mounting assembly drops right in. The sink ships with a basket strainer (190-9180) if you are not running a disposal; on a disposal side you use the disposal's own flange instead.
2) Does the Houzer ES-2408 come with mounting clips and a template, or do I buy those separately?
Mounting hardware is included and so is a cutout template, along with installation instructions and the basket strainer. For a countertop fabricator that means you can hand off the template with the sink. Standard laminate with a particleboard core is not a suitable substrate for this one. If your tops are laminate, you want a drop-in rather than an undermount.

The bowl runs 21 x 15-3/4 inches with an 8 inch depth. That takes a full size baking sheet or a large stock pot flat on the bottom. Overall the sink is 23-3/16 x 17-15/16 x 8 inches, so about an inch of rim on each side beyond the bowl.
