1) What size cabinet do I need for the Houzer PTW-3320S 33 inch farmhouse sink?
Plan on a 36 inch sink base. The PTW-3320S measures 33 x 20 x 10 inches overall, and Houzer calls for a 36 inch minimum cabinet. A 33 inch base will not take it, so if you're replacing a drop-in on a 33 inch cabinet the cabinetry has to change before the sink goes in. Apron front also means the front of the base gets cut out to expose the apron, which is carpentry work, not a plumbing swap.

The bowl runs 31-3/4 x 18-7/8 inches with a 9 inch interior depth, in one single basin with no divider. Exterior depth is 10 inches. That's a full-size single bowl, so sheet pans, roasting pans and oven racks lie down in it rather than standing on edge the way they have to in a 50/50 double bowl.

The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches and sits center of the bowl, which is the standard US kitchen sink drain size, so a standard disposal flange or basket strainer mates to it. A strainer (Houzer 190-9180) ships with the sink.
