1) How many faucet holes does the Houzer V-100 granite sink come with?
One hole comes pre-drilled, plus four more pre-scored. The scored locations knock out on site, so a single-hole pulldown, a widespread with sprayer and soap dispenser, or an air switch for a disposer are all possible from the same deck. Open only what you need, because a scored hole you punch cannot be put back.
2) What size drain and tailpiece do I need for a Houzer Quartztone V-100?
The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches, which is the standard US kitchen opening, so a regular 3-1/2 inch basket strainer or a garbage disposal flange both land correctly. Houzer's matched basket strainer is part 190-9180. The drain sits to the rear of the bowl, so plan the trap arm and disposal clearance toward the back wall of the cabinet.
3) Does the Houzer V-100 come with mounting clips, or do I buy those separately?
Mounting hardware is in the box, along with a cutout template and installation instructions. For a drop-in that means you can set it the same day the counter goes in. The bottom grid (629705) and basket strainer (190-9180) are separate accessories.
4) Is granite composite tough enough for a rental or multi-family kitchen?
Quartztone is 80 percent fine quartz sand, non-porous, and rated for heat to 500 degrees Fahrenheit with UV stability, so it resists staining and color fade in the kind of hard use a tenant kitchen sees. The non-porous body is the practical point for a property manager: no sealing, and cleaners do not etch a pattern into the surface over time.
5) Can I run a garbage disposal with the Houzer V-100 granite sink?
Yes. The 3-1/2 inch drain opening takes a standard disposal mounting flange, and the drain is positioned at the rear of the bowl, which usually gives better clearance for the disposal body against the back of a 36 inch cabinet. Punch one of the pre-scored deck holes if you want an air switch on the sink rather than a wall switch.
