1) What size base cabinet do I need for the Houzer V-300 33 inch sink?
Plan on a 36 inch cabinet minimum. The V-300 measures 33 x 22 x 10 inches overall, so a standard 36 inch sink base gives you the rail clearance the cutout needs. Anything narrower will not take it.
2) How many faucet holes does the Houzer V-300 come with, and can I add a soap dispenser or air switch?
One hole comes pre-drilled and four more are pre-scored in the deck. Knock out only what you need: a single hole handles a one-hole faucet, and the scored positions let you add a side spray, soap dispenser, or disposal air switch without drilling the composite from scratch.
3) Is the Houzer V-300 a drop-in or an undermount sink?
Topmount, also called drop-in. The rim sits on top of the counter and it ships with mounting clips, a template and instructions, so it works on laminate, wood or solid surface tops where an undermount would need a finished stone edge. If you want the counter to run flush over the bowl, this is the wrong mount style.
4) Will a standard kitchen basket strainer and garbage disposal fit the V-300 drain?
The drain opening is 3-1/2 inches, the standard US kitchen size, so a typical basket strainer or disposal flange mounts to it. Houzer lists basket strainer 190-9180 as the matching accessory. The drain sits to the rear of the bowl, which leaves more usable floor space in the basin and puts the tailpiece closer to the back wall.
5) What colors does the Houzer V-300 Quartztone sink come in?
Five matte granite composite colors: Matte Cloud (V-300-CLOUD), Matte Sand (V-300-SAND), Matte Mocha (V-300-MOCHA), Matte Midnite (V-300-MIDNITE) and Matte Slate (V-300-SLATE).
