1) Does the Isonas Pure Access Cloud 1 to 5 door renewal license work with my existing PowerNet readers?
Pure Access Cloud supports ISONAS PowerNet Reader-Controller RC-03 models and newer, plus all ISONAS PowerNet IP-Bridge models. Older reader-controllers than the RC-03 are not covered. If your doors are running RC-03 or later hardware, the renewal keeps them on the hosted platform with no hardware change.
2) What information do I have to include when ordering an Isonas Pure Access Cloud renewal?
This is a factory download, not a boxed product, so the order needs details before it can be processed. Provide the site name, the existing license key number, the time zone, and the email address of the installer who will maintain the software in the order notes. Missing the license key is the usual reason a renewal stalls.
3) Is this a new Isonas license or a renewal of one I already have?
It is a renewal of an existing Pure Access Cloud license covering 1 to 5 doors at the Basic Access Control level. That is why the order asks for your current license key number. If you are adding a system from scratch rather than extending one, you want an initial license instead.
4) I have seven doors on access control. Does the 1 to 5 door Isonas license cover them?
No. The Basic Access Control renewal tier covers 1 to 5 doors. Seven access points needs a higher door-count license. The platform itself has no ceiling on access points, so it is the license tier, not the software, that limits you.
5) Do I need a server on site to run Isonas Pure Access Cloud?
No server, no local install. Pure Access Cloud is the fully hosted member of the Pure Access family, run on Amazon Web Services, and administered from a mobile device, tablet or modern browser. If your facility requires the software to live on your own hardware instead, Pure Access Manager is the on-premise option in the same family.
6) Can one Isonas Pure Access Cloud account manage doors at buildings in different cities?
Yes. Because the platform is hosted rather than tied to a box in one building, access points across any geography are managed from a single browser or mobile session. That is the usual reason a property management or multi-site MRO group picks the Cloud version over the on-premise Pure Access Manager.
7) Is Isonas Pure Access Cloud meant for commercial buildings or homes?
It is a commercial access control platform. The Basic renewal tier suits a small commercial site or a single building with up to five controlled openings, managed by an installer or in-house facilities staff.
