This is a renewal license. It extends an existing Pure Access Cloud subscription for three years on a site running 6 to 20 doors. Because it renews rather than starts a subscription, you need to supply the existing license key number with the order, along with the site name, time zone, and the email address of the installer who maintains the software. If you are standing up a brand new site, you want the new-subscription version of the license instead.
2) What information do I have to send in with the order for the Isonas Pure Access license to be processed?
It ships as a factory download, not a boxed item, and the order cannot be processed without four things in the order notes: the site name, the license key number you are renewing, the time zone the site operates in, and the email address of the installer who will administer the software. Missing any of those stalls the download.
3) My building has 14 access points. Is the 6 to 20 door Pure Access license the right tier?
Yes, 14 doors sits inside the 6 to 20 door band, so this is the correct tier. Pure Access licensing is counted by access points, so count every reader controller you intend to manage, including gates and interior controlled doors, not just exterior entrances. If a phased build would push you past 20, size up rather than stacking tiers.
4) If the internet connection drops, do the Isonas doors stop working?
No. If the connection to AWS is lost, the ISONAS reader controllers fall back to local mode and keep making access decisions at the door. Credentials already pushed to the controllers continue to work. What you lose until the link returns is live administration from the browser or mobile app, so changes like disabling a lost badge have to wait for the site to reconnect.
5) Will Pure Access Cloud run my existing access control readers, or only Isonas hardware?
Pure Access is built for the ISONAS Pure IP reader controller platform. The software manages that patented hardware, so it is not a substitute head end for a third-party panel-based system. If your doors are on someone else's controllers, this license will not manage them.
6) What does the Basic tier of Isonas Pure Access actually give me?
Basic access control: full installation, administration, and management of ISONAS Pure IP reader controllers through the Pure Access interface, with an unlimited number of access points manageable across any geography from a mobile device, tablet, or modern browser.
