1) How many doors does the Isonas Pure Access Cloud 6 to 20 door license cover?
It licenses between 6 and 20 doors on one Pure Access Cloud site. If you are controlling five openings or fewer, or more than twenty, you need a different door-count tier of the same Pure Access Cloud license rather than this one.
2) Is the Isonas Pure Access Cloud license a one-time purchase or a subscription I have to renew?
It is a subscription. Pure Access Cloud runs on a 1-year duration subscription renewal license, so the 6 to 20 door coverage has to be renewed annually to keep the hosted platform active. Budget it as a recurring line, not a capital purchase.
3) What information do I have to supply when ordering an Isonas Pure Access Cloud license?
This is a factory download, not a boxed item, and the order cannot be processed without four things in the order notes: the site name, the license key number if you are renewing an existing site, the time zone, and the email address of the installer who will maintain the software. Missing any of those stalls the download.
4) Do my Isonas doors stop working if the internet connection drops?
No. If the connection to AWS is lost, the ISONAS reader controllers keep running in local mode, so credentials presented at the door are still processed at the controller. What you lose during the outage is the hosted management layer, not the ability to get through the door.
5) What hardware does the Isonas Pure Access Cloud license actually manage?
It manages Isonas patented Pure IP reader controllers. The license is the software side of an Isonas system, so it assumes the doors are already fitted with Pure IP hardware; it will not administer another manufacturer's readers or panels.
6) What is the difference between the basic and higher tiers of Isonas Pure Access Cloud?
This license is the basic access control tier: installation, administration and day-to-day management of Pure IP access points. If your site needs the added features beyond basic, that is a different Pure Access Cloud tier at the same door count. Pick the tier first, then the door band.

Yes. Access points are managed from a mobile device, tablet, or a modern browser, across any geography, so a manager covering several buildings can add and revoke credentials without going to a workstation at any one site.

It is a commercial access control platform. Pure Access Cloud is aimed at commercial facilities managing multiple controlled openings, which is why the licensing is banded by door count rather than sold per unit.
