1) Does the Isonas Pure Access Cloud 6 to 20 door renewal cover a new install, or only an existing system?
It's a renewal, not a new license. The 6 to 20 door Pure Access Cloud SKU extends an existing subscription for another year, so it assumes you already have a site running on Pure Access Cloud with Isonas Pure IP reader controllers. When you order, the factory needs the site name, the existing license key number, the time zone, and the email address of the installer who maintains the software, put those in the order notes or the download can't be processed.
2) How many doors does the Isonas 6 to 20 door Pure Access Cloud license cover, and what happens if my building grows past 20?
The license band covers 6 through 20 doors on one Pure Access Cloud site. If your door count is under 6 or climbs above 20, you're in a different license tier, the band you buy has to match the number of access points you're actually running. The software itself administers an unlimited number of access points across any geography; the license band is what sets your covered count.
3) If the internet goes down, do the doors on an Isonas Pure Access Cloud system stop working?
No. If connection to AWS is lost, the ISONAS reader controllers fall back to local mode and keep making access decisions at the door. That's the practical difference between Pure IP hardware and a system where the panel is just a dumb endpoint, credentials already loaded to the controller still work through the outage.
4) Does buying the Isonas Pure Access Cloud renewal get me the door readers too?
No hardware comes with it. This is software licensing only, one year of hosted Pure Access Cloud for 6 to 20 doors. The Isonas Pure IP reader controllers at each opening are ordered separately, and the platform is built to install, administer, and manage that hardware. If you're adding openings at the same time as the renewal, budget the reader controller per door on top of the license.
5) What does the basic tier of Isonas Pure Access Cloud include compared to a higher tier?
This renewal is the basic access control tier: credential and cardholder administration, door and access point management, and scheduling across your sites from a browser or mobile device. It's the level most property managers and MRO buyers run for standard card in, card out control at 6 to 20 openings. Higher Isonas tiers exist for sites that need more than basic control, so if you're currently on an advanced subscription, match the tier when you renew or you'll lose function at the cutover.
