CDX-10 High Security Lock - Pedestrian Door Deadbolts
The Kaba Mas CDX-10 consists of an X-10 high security style 1 lock, Federal Specification FF-L-2740B, mounted on a deadbolt base plate. The base plate is surface-mounted to the inside face of the door. The deadbolt base plate has two essential features:

The CDX-10 fits standard commercial door preparations with proper template installation. Verify your door thickness and backset requirements. The hardplate design may require specific mounting considerations compared to standard locksets.
3) What door handing options are available?
Electronic locks typically offer field-reversible handing or universal mounting. Confirm your door's swing direction (left-hand, right-hand, inward, outward) before ordering. Check the installation template for specific handing requirements.
4) What finish options does the CDX-10 offer?
High-security locks typically come in standard commercial finishes like satin stainless steel or black. The hardplate finish is designed to resist tampering while maintaining professional appearance. Contact us for specific finish availability.
5) What power requirements does this lock have?
The CDX-10 typically operates on low-voltage DC power, commonly 12V or 24V. Plan for consistent power supply and backup systems for security applications. Verify exact voltage and current requirements from the specification sheet.
6) How many user codes can be programmed?
Electronic access control systems typically support multiple user codes with varying access levels. The exact capacity depends on the control module configuration. Consult the programming manual for specific user limits and code management features.
