The Larsens 2409 Architectural Series fire extinguisher cabinet delivers a clean, institutional-grade stainless steel profile in a 10 lb capacity enclosure. Available recessed, semi-recessed, or surface-mounted, with your choice of door style, handle, and lock configuration to match any building specification.

LARSEN-LOC® OPTION

All door styles are available with the exclusive Larsen-Loc® — an emergency-access mechanism that allows the cabinet door to be opened by pulling sharply on the handle, without breaking glass. A factory-applied decal reads: "IN CASE OF FIRE ONLY – PULL FIRMLY ON HANDLE." The Larsen-Loc® is compatible with every door style, including solid metal doors, making it suitable for gymnasiums and institutional settings where glazing is not appropriate. The Solid Door with Larsen-Loc® can also be specified as an Institutional Door (key-only emergency access) by deleting the pull handle and decal.

VIGILANTE ALARM OPTION

Larsen's exclusive Vigilante Alarm provides additional protection for the cabinet's life safety contents. Constructed of high-impact plastic, plunger-activated, and powered by a heavy-duty 9V battery (included). The on/off jack allows authorized personnel to service the cabinet's contents without triggering the alarm. Helps reduce theft losses, prolong extinguisher life, and safeguard fire department valves, hose, and other equipment.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

• Inside box depth is 4¾" when supplied with aluminum door and trim; AL2409-5R and AL2409-R7 have 1¼" square trims
• Trimless cabinets must be installed before drywall; plaster stops must be behind the drywall — not recommended for block wall installation
• Deduct ¾" from H × W dimensions for cabinets with aluminum door and trim (does not apply to "FS" fire-rated option)

DECAL OPTIONS

Die-cut letters are available in standard colors (red, black, or white) and standard designs (vertical, horizontal, or Type A). Custom lettering, special colors, and pictorial graphics are available on request.
