Up to a 3/4 inch latchbolt. Standard cylindrical locksets typically throw 1/2 inch and mortise latches 3/4 inch, so both fall inside the range. The strike body itself measures 3-3/8 H x 1-11/16 W x 1-3/16 D less the faceplate, which is the pocket you need in the frame.
4) Do I need this kit if I am replacing only a damaged strike faceplate and keeping the strike body?
That is exactly what it covers. The CSFP-KIT-10B is faceplates only, for a Locknetics CS Series electric strike already in the frame. It does not include the strike body, solenoid, or wiring, so if the strike itself failed you need a complete CS Series unit instead.
5) Is the Trine 4100 CC faceplate a substitute for the Locknetics CSFP-KIT-10B?
They share the same face dimensions but not the same strike body. The Locknetics CSFP-KIT-10B supplies two 4-7/8 inch x 1-1/4 inch plates, one square corner and one radius corner, cut for the Locknetics CS Series electric strike. The Trine CC faceplate is also a 4-7/8 inch x 1-1/4 inch plate, but it is a center cavity plate for the Trine 4100 Series strike. Match the plate to the strike body already in the frame rather than to the outside dimension alone.
6) I need a faceplate for a fire rated opening - does the Locknetics CS Series plate kit cover that?
For a fire rated opening, look at the Folger Adam 700 Series faceplates from HES, which are Grade 1 and carry a fire rating. The Locknetics CSFP-KIT-10B is a CS Series plate kit in 613/US10B dark bronze for cylindrical and mortise locksets without a deadbolt on wood or metal doors, and the CS strike it dresses is a low profile fail safe/fail secure unit with latchbolt monitoring. The 700 Series plates only serve 700 Series strike bodies, so the fire rated path means specifying that strike as well.
7) Is this faceplate kit a finish match for other dark bronze hardware in my building?

The CS Series is weather resistant and built for commercial use, so it is used on perimeter openings as well as interior. It runs dual voltage 12/24VDC, drawing 0.3A at 12V or 0.15A at 24V, and includes a spike suppressor plus latchbolt monitoring.
10) My frame has square corner prep - do I need a different part than the CSFP-KIT-10B?
