1) What's the difference between the U5702-O-200S and the U5702-O-5T9 Milbank pedestal?
Both are the same U5702-O double power head ringless meter socket pedestal with lever bypass, but the breaker arrangement differs. The U5702-O-200S ships with dual 200A main breakers already installed, one for each position. The U5702-O-5T9 comes as main breaker provision only, meaning you supply and install the breakers, and it adds a 5th terminal in the 9 o'clock position for utilities that require it. Pick the 5T9 only if your serving utility calls for the 5th terminal.
2) Can I feed two mobile homes from one Milbank U5702 pedestal?
Yes. The U5702-O is a double power head unit, so it carries two meter positions on a single pedestal, each rated 200 continuous amps at 1 phase, up to 240 volts AC, 60 hertz. That is the normal setup for two adjacent lots in a mobile home park off one service drop.
3) Does the Milbank U5702 pedestal take overhead service or underground?
Underground only. The U5702-O is built for underground cable entry and the top is a plain top with no hub opening, so there is no provision for a weatherhead or overhead riser. If your service comes in overhead you need a different socket configuration with a hub top.
4) Is this Milbank socket ringless, and will my utility accept that?

6) Will a Milbank U5702 hold up outdoors in a coastal or wet mobile home park?
It is built for permanent outdoor exposure. The enclosure is G90 galvanized steel with a powder coat finish and carries a Type 3R rating, which covers rain, sleet and ice formation on the enclosure. Internal insulation is glass polyester. Type 3R is not a washdown or submersion rating, so keep the base above standing water.
7) What is lever bypass and does the meter have to come out to work on the service?
Lever bypass lets a utility tech throw a lever that shunts current around the meter socket jaws, so the meter can be pulled and replaced without dropping power to the home.
