2) What is the pressure and temperature limit on the Chemtrol F45TB-V valve?
Rated 150 psi at 73 degrees F on water, non-shock, full port, with a maximum service temperature of 140 degrees F. PVC loses strength as temperature climbs, so systems running near 140 F should be de-rated accordingly.
3) Can I use this PVC ball valve on a compressed air line?
No. The F45TB-V is not to be used or tested with compressed air or other gases. It is a liquid-service valve, and pressure testing should be done hydrostatically with water.
4) Is the Nibco F45TB-V approved for potable water systems?
