Six copper tube sizes: 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4, 1-1/2 and 2 inch. The thread side matches the press side nominally, so a 3/4 inch press end pairs with 3/4 inch female thread. Order by MPN, for example 9256700PC for 1/2 inch and 9256750PC for 2 inch.
5) Why use a press union instead of a soldered or threaded copper union?
The press side goes on with a jaw and a tool, no flame, no flux, no wet-line drying. On an occupied building, a mechanical room with combustibles, or a repair you cannot drain fully, that is the whole argument. The union body still gives you a breakable joint for pulling a pump or valve later, same as a solder union would.
